  • Erin Scott-Morley

    DVM & Co-Owner

Being presented with unique challenges on a daily basis is one of the reasons Dr. Erin Scott-Morley finds her career choice so rewarding. She grew up in Coventry, Rhode Island and spent a great deal of her free time as a child riding and being around horses. She credits her grandfather as being the person who most inspired her to become the veterinarian she is today. “Being part of a constantly evolving field and being able to experience different challenges every day makes my job very satisfying,” she says. Dr. Scott-Morley started working in veterinary hospitals at the age of 16. She earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of New Hampshire in 2003. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. In January 2012, Dr. Scott-Morley joined the clinical team at Highland Animal Hospital. She has professional interests in ophthalmology and pain management and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. A few of Dr. Scott-Morley’s favorite things include horseback riding and dressage, the movie Sixteen Candles, and anything chocolate. Most of all, Dr. Scott-Morley enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and Havanese companion, Gordon, who can give high fives!

  • Noelle Litra

    DVM

Dr. Noelle Litra grew up in Red Hook, New York, after moving from Queens at the age of six. As her family enjoyed the space to spread out in upstate New York, one of the biggest benefits that Dr. Litra recalls was that this gave them the opportunity to get their first dog, Comet, a Labrador mixed breed. Her love of her pets, and in particular cats, inspired Dr. Litra to become the energetic and outstanding veterinarian she is today. Dr. Litra attended veterinary school at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, completing her degree in 2015. She has professional interests in dentistry and chronic pain management, particularly in felines. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Litra spent six months in South Africa working with Great White Sharks, for research purposes and the adrenaline rush of cage-diving. She also participated in volunteer work with small animals and zoological medicine. Dr. Litra describes her beloved one-eyed cat Harvey as “the love of her life.” She and Harvey met while she was in veterinary school, and she helped to treat him after he was hit by a car, which resulted in the loss of his eye; it was love at first sight. Dr. Litra also enjoys running, crafting, and horseback riding.

  • Alexandra Frank

    DVM

Dr. Alexandra Frank grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and has been out East since attending Colgate University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in 1997. She has always had a passion for science, medicine, and animals, but finally put it all together during her post-college years while working at different veterinary clinics in all possible roles shy of a veterinarian. Dr. Frank graduated from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 after which she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Following her internship, she worked as an emergency clinician at a specialty hospital for a few years, then as a general practitioner, and finally, as a shelter medicine clinician at the SPCA in the department of surgery prior to joining the team at Highland Animal Hospital in 2023. Dr. Frank’s areas of greatest interest are surgery, emergency medicine, and internal medicine, although all areas of veterinary medicine appeal to her. When she’s not at work, she can be found outdoors enjoying nature and life in active and athletic ways with her family and corgi, “Ember.”
